The 2018 Show will be SATURDAY 17 FEBRUARY 2018

The Masterton A&P Show is changing. We will continue to do what we have always done well in providing a showcase for excellence in livestock production, equestrian sports and RAS-showing classes but promise a whole lot more.

2017 saw the introduction of the $1,000, winner-take-all, tug of war comp in the Solway Oval – congrats to Carterton Rugby Club for taking away the title.

The tug of war will be back in 2018 PLUS a selection of Highland Games activities including:

• A ute pull – fastest team wins
• Archery – five arrows per shooter
• Wine-barrel roll – fastest around an obstacle course
• Gum boot toss
• Egg-throw and catch
• Farmer’s challenge carrying 2 x 20kg weights around an obstacle course
• Speed croquet

Cash prizes for winners, enter on the day.

There’ll also be wall-to-wall live music, a culinary marquee, boutique craft beer, trade displays, food village as well as cheese and bee-keeping expos.
